Hangar Rules: Personalized Units
What are Personalized Units? [/li][li] For those players with lots of cash or just the urge to have their own custom versions of a unit, we present Personalized Units. For a fee of 250 PCs, we'll look over a submitted request for a personalized unit and proceed to either reject it or create stats for it. At this point, another fee will be assessed, of 1250 PCs for a basic customization or 2250 PCs for a more complicated or in-depth customization. If this fee is paid, the unit will be added to the Hangar.
This sounds AWESOME. There has to be a catch, right? Right? [/li][li] There are actually several 'catches', to prevent this system from being abused. [/li][li] First, dressups cannot be made into Personalized Units. They're already customized. [/li][li] Second, if your personalized unit design is rejected for whatever reason, or, after it is designed, you do not wish it to be added to the SC, the initial fee of 250 PCs is nonrefundable. [/li][li] Third, the personalized unit will become an evolution from its base unit. For minor customizations, three fights will be required, while for the more complicated or in-depth customizations, five fights will be required. [/li][li] Fourth, while the price for a customized unit is quite high, it does not necessarily add that many PCs of value to the new unit. Most of the money spent in this fashion is spent for the novelty of a unique, non-canon unit.
Wait, rejected? Does this mean I can't have any personalized unit I want? [/li][li] Obviously, some unit ideas will not be acceptable under any circumstances. Requests which are too overpowered, underpowered, badly-worded, or ridiculous will be summarily rejected. Use common sense before submitting a request, in order to avoid wasting your 250 PC submission fee.
So how do I submit a personalized unit design? [/li][li] Submit your request into a thread on the CommLink, and deduct 250 PCs from your PCD. It must contain both the base unit for the personalization and either a list of what customizations should be made to the unit or a full description of the new, personalized unit. Do not submit game statistics, or ideas in terms of game statistics. Submit a concept. Eventually, a Hangar moderator will reply with either a rejection or a set of stats and a price. If you accept the stats, reply with a post stating such, and deduct the appropriate amount of PCs from your PCD. The personalized unit will be added to the Hangar shortly thereafter.
((Tristan, not sure that this system could possibly work, wants me to test it on the bridge. Please, post your applications in this thread. As it is just a test, there is no submission fee, nor shall the units I will be responding with be added to the Hangar.
However, if this test goes well, the system may soon be seen in the SC in some form.))

Turn A was a very popular unit(At least in the mind of one Ebanis), however he always thought it was missing...something. Thus, under the cover of darkness...
Turn-A Gundam
Statistics: HP: 50, EN: 30, IS: 2 Size: M
Weapons: 1) Missile (PG)- 7 damage, 8 rounds 2) Hand Knife (M)- 9 damage 3) Beam Saber (M)- 12 damage x 2 4) Beam Rifle (B)- 16 damage, 10 rounds 5) Beam Drive Unit (BSV)- 10 damage/EN 6) Gundam Hammer (S)- 65 damage, 8 rounds 7) Moonlight Butterfly - DESTROY, EN damage, 10 EN/shot
MAP Attacks: 1) Moonlight Butterfly (I:8)- DESTROY, EN Damage, 15 EN/shot
Inherent Abilities: 1) Usable by Ensigns or higher. 2) Shield 3) Countercut 4) I-Field (Barrier) 5) Nano Skin (Armor): Regenerate 25% of total HP/post. 6) VR Helmet: Target's Dodge Cost +5. 7) Core Block System: If Turn-A Gundam is destroyed or pilot chooses to separate, transform to Core Fighter (Turn-A) (stats in Hangar).
Core Fighter (Turn-A)
Statistics: HP: 10, EN: 10, IS: 4
Weapons: 1) Missile (PGV)- 5 damage, 10 rounds
Inherent Abilities: 1) Dodge Cost is 5 2) Nano Skin (Armor): Regenerate 25% of total HP/post.
Basically, I'm thinking of a Gundam Fighter version of Turn A. Possibly even discard all of the ranged weapons, excluding Moonlight Butterfly. But, anyway, probably adding a Mobile Trace System(And Super/Hyper Mode), and an extra Gundam Hammer or something...I'll leave it to your imagination.#nosmileys

I think you're going to need better rules than just "use common sense."

I think you may have to Give an Example of a good Submittion and a Bad one. "Commen Sence" can very from person to person ( Thou I Wouldn't mind Giving L-Gaim MKIII a Little Tune up ) I mean, Someone Would never put a Stats attack on there mech while someone else would try to put an (X) - PARA + DESTROY:L1 or Something nuts like that. ( Knows he would try to put an S2 Engine on every EVA he Has )

Well, it ends up coming down to the mod's common sense, you need to remember, not your own.

To acquire this unit, purchase the AB Parts and install it on Blade Liger.(Not really sure what to do in the case of something with Customize parts.) Blade Liger Customizations - Replace the Anti-Particle E-Shield with a Hyper E-Shield. - Make a refined control for the energy consumption of the E-Shield attack, though this would lower overall efficency. (Translation, E-Shield attack becomes a (V), but drains more EN per damage than the non-(V) version.) - Add a Smoke Discharger unit (such as on Command Wolves).

I only lost 2, so if you lose more than 2, you can't get it.

The advisor walks calmly to the head of the meeting, setting up his easel and prints. He slowly pages through the schematics, pointing as he speaks. Strangely, the conference is held with a bunch of chairs on what seems to be a landing strip.
"A refitted transport, the original design of the Raven Shuttle is anonymous in origin, but its popularity is growing. It is essentially a stealth carrier, equipped primarily to transport "commando" mecha into dangerous zones and out of them.
"Massive Minovsky generators were not in favor for this design, as they would prove easy to detect. Although it varies between applications of the Raven Shuttle's concept, they all use primitive rocket and thruster technology with thermal shielding. This particular model runs off of hydrogen fuel cells. This provides a fairly low audio signature, as it avoids traveling at the "Mach" speeds that would break the sound barrier. Most of these are fairly manueverable, and are equipped to land in the unsteady terrain that sometimes favors mobile suit operations.
"Many of these 'Raven Shuttles' are equipped with jammer systems and light refraction systems, in addition to their low signature. As you can see from these blueprints, this particular one favors the latter. In fact, allow me to demonstrate."
Some futzing about occurs as the advisor produces a remote, tapping it. The listeners pause, awed, as the Raven Shuttle shimmers into existence behind the speaker.
"Munitions are commonly equipped, some with heavier payloads than others. Some ace pilots have demonstrated their ability to use these quite ably in defense, and as such, small guns are almost always in place."
"Any questions?"
( My brain's cracked refit of the Medea transport from Gundam 0079. )

Okay, first a little backstory on how my customized unit came to pass.
Tsuen Foriyea was once the owner of Asgard Inc, and a respected genius amongst mecha designers. Some time ago, she began research on controlling machine cells, in order to use them for mecha construction. If successful, Tsuen hoped to build units that would mend themselves, and never run out of energy in combat. One night however, all that changed. An elite squad of solders stormed into Tsuen's lab, claiming to represent the Earth Federation. They demanded that Tsuen hand over all of her research, and cease any further study. However, Tsuen knew that these people couldn't have come from the Earth Federation, because the EF had just contracted her to build a powerful prototype Gundam for them a month earlier. So she resisted, threatening to contact their superiors. The soldiers did not react well to this, and began trashing the lab. Before Tsuen could try and stop them, one of the soldiers shot her several times. Stunned, Tsuen collapsed backwards, her eyes slipping closed as she took her last breaths. Hours passed, and suddenly Tsuen opened her eyes again. But she felt.. different. As she rose to her feet, she looked around. Her lab was in shambles, yet somehow she was still alive.. or was she? A quick investigation of herself revealed that the machine cells she had been researching had infected her, bringing back to "life". Distraught over the realization, she stumbled aimlessly out of her lab. The entire building had come under attack it seemed, and noone was left alive. She collapsed to her knees in front of the ruins of the prototype gundam her company had been building for the Earth Federation. Her sadness quickly changed however, to anger. Her life had been stolen away, and she wanted revenge for this. Looking up at the ruined Gundam, she formulated a plan in her mind. She rose to her feet, and pressed her hands against the gundam's armor, infesting it with machine cells, which quickly repaired the mobile suit, and twisted it to Tsuen's ideal image of revenge...
Basically, it would be a tweaked Devil Gundam, with stuff leaning towards the Ancestor template. Like machine cells instead of DG Cells.

Liege Geios (Big Fire Type)
Statistics:HP: 220, EN: 170, IS: 1, Size: M, Class: Hi-Tier[/color] Weapons: Double Missile Launcher (PSV)- 10 damage x 2/PC Hyper Beam Zweihander (BMS)- 90 damage Beam Bazooka (BS)- 40 damage, 12 rounds Giga Blaster- 60 damage, 20 rounds Driver Cannon- 70 damage, PARALYZE, 6 rounds Charged Particle Cannon (BSV)- 55 damage/2 EN/Inherent Abilities: 1) Usable by Lieutenants or higher 2) Countercut 3) Shield 4) Countershoot: Beam Bazooka, Charged Particle Cannon 5) Damage Received -40% 6) Giga Blaster: Target's Dodge Cost +5 7) Charged Particle Cannon: Target's Dodge Cost +3 8) Dodge Cost -5 Purchasing Costs: N/A PCsThis mass production Liege Geios is almost the exclusive province of high ranking Big Fire pilots, and seeing one outside of Big Fire facilities is almost unthinkable. It has had it's beam launcher replaced with a more efficient (though lower power) beam bazooka, and it has had two more missile pods attached to allow it to saturate a wider area with munitions. In addition, the original laser sword has been replaced with an extraordinarily powerful mega beam zweihander, capable of actually hitting more than one unit in a single swing. The devastating Giga Blaster has been left largely alone, but the large barrel beam cannon was instead replaced with a variable-output charged particle cannon based on Guest battleship cannons. The unit also had it's armor removed, and largely replaced with newer, more advanced substances. In addition, an array of high mobility boosters was attached all over the body, allowing the Liege Geios to move startlingly fast. Finally, a larger generator was fitted to power the new systems, and a shield was attached to the left arm. The results speak for themselves-- the Big Fire version of the Liege Geios has slightly less armor than it's predecessor, but is faster and has somewhat increased firepower over the original Guest model.

Let's see. Avitar> Denied. I asked for a description, not game statistics. In addition, the addition of an item slot on a stronger version of the base unit goes against Hangar patterns. Wes> Interesting, but personalized units should be more based on an interesting concept rather than game statistics. I might reply to this if I think I can. Ebby> Accepted. I'll get back to you. Mechalomaniac> I'll see what I can do. Accepted. Umby> Er. Now this is strange. I... can't really say what I'd do, since I know nothing about your personal redressing of the unit. Tavish> Is it a Medea or a Gallop? BerlapSack> Holy HELL that's quite a customization. Lemme think on that. Berrik> Accepted. Reply forthcoming.

Ok, the lowdown...
Some more Hp and En. Biosensor gets replaced with an MDS. Remove Double Mega Launcher. Vulcan is no longer x2, but does more dmg. Missle Launcher gone. Beam gun has more dmg, less rounds. beam sabre is x2 with more EN cost. Double Beam Rifle is x2, less rounds.
Core fighter gets more Hp and en, and gains a vulcan.
