Yan brings up a pretty good point and I agree with him 100%. I'm at your service for the testing, too.

In return, think of how much gain a dodging class gets out of Perseverence or Greater Perseverence. I'd say that a lot of the time, a dodger is only saving a dodge or 2 out of casting one. Unless the dodger is going in prepared to tank, which mirrors a tanker going in prepared to dodge.
I'm just saying.

Well that's kind of the point. Both dodgers and tankers get a lot more out of this than out of Perseverance/Greater Perseverance except in mecha with stupidly high HP AND dodge costs. So Motherships.

I'm interested in seeing how this turns out, I would like to also say that this will probably/should probably result in more than one test (after the first). And seeing as how my plate has been abruptly cleared of things to do, I'd like to participate.
EDIT: I have a Masoukishin Herald, Grendizer Pilot, and Heavy Metal at the moment. So my classes are more likely to tank than dodge.

Ok, so the matchups are: 1) Mao v Trigger (Dodge v Dodge) 2) Yan v Tavish (Dodge v Tank) 3) Kait v Mecha (Tank v Tank) Dodgers will have a pool of 150 PCs for dodging, while tankers will have a pool of 50. The unit everyone will use will be Shin Jaldabaoth, as it is a good mix of tanking, dodging, and attack power. Shin Jaldabaoth
Statistics:HP: 240, EN: 80, IS: 1, Move: F/G, Size: M, Class: Hi-Tier Weapons: Kishin Ken (MV)- 30 damage/EN Mahaku Kou Ken- 35 damage, 1 EN/attack Mahaku Gou Shousen (SV)- 35 damage/2 EN Mahaku Mougeki Reppa (MX)- 35 damage/EN + (V) 70 damage/5 EN Inherent Abilities:1) Usable by Lieutenants or higher 2) EN Regen 10%3) Dodge Cost -10 4) Damage Received -40% Purchasing Costs: Not applicable. To acquire this unit, participate in a total of 7 SimChamber battles with Jaldabaoth. Shin Jaldabaoth will then replace the original Jaldabaoth.
Hanger Resale Value: 500 PCsThe matches will be going up shortly in the VS, so watch out for them and deploy quickly.

Quick Question: What Items (if Any) are allowed for this test?)

Items will be limited to only low-tier perishables, including an item to replenish the dodge pool. You can call the dodge replenisher whatever, if you choose to use it.

Don't forget to take into account that the pool sizes used were extremes. Gundam Fighters would be much more likely to have a pool size around 100.

Don't forget to take into account that the pool sizes used were extremes. Gundam Fighters would be much more likely to have a pool size around 100. And the match was a little... rigged? It was designed to derive some data, not to make it easy for any participant to win. And my Gren is still underdeveloped. I liked being able to actually dodge when I felt like it, however. To clarify, dodging wasn't a penalty. It was a valid form of defense, just like tanking and eating from my HP. I could still countercut or buy Kiai counters, although obviously the former did not apply.

I notice this is kind of fruity in that there's no penalty for 100% Ki-Ai-ing right away unless you REALLY NEED to countercut or have PC weapons.

Kait> it's not so much as no need to CC. It's just that not everyone brought there Gundam Fighter to HAVE CC.
though this test is really ment to test the dodging, not the CC >_<

No, that's not the point. I'm talking about in any fight, not just these tests. I can easily see myself doing exactly what I am now. If I'm pumping out gonzo damage and not taking much, why do I care about CC-ing? Unless the enemy has an (M) or (P) PARALYZE, that is.
