Ok guys here we are... this idea just popped in my gead a few days ago...
What if we make a remake of Gundam SEED from eps 1-50? and with a few twitches of course... SC style... XD
btw this is an entire campaign therefore should rules apply... (this is kinda like G Generation F which you have your own troops helping out the mainstay of the series...) another thing is that RPing this one should be a good call IMHO.
- No High Tier and Boss Units during the first half of the campaign -as for the rest im still thinking and i need suggestions guys...
here's an example...
in episode 1 of SEED instead of having Muu with a Mobius Zero confronting Cruize, Max in a VF-1JS helps out and takes Cruize down(insert ideas of other people you want to be Muu instead, if you dont like max...)
episode 2 heliopolis collapses... the news reaches HAGANE, FB, CAKE, BF and many other factions... the archangel goes out but is blockaded by ZAFT, help arrives as the Mother Vanguard comes to aid the Archangel...
etc...
anyways suggestions are needed guys and i hope we can do this...

Well, it's quite ambitious. I'd like to say it's a bit too ambitious. Note that people around here don't have the endurance for a prolonged campaign.

Kira> sure you are... and you get the choices in deciding
ex:
the archangel goes to its decent reentry towards earth... kira can chose where to decent...(just dont decent on someone else's base like in FB base or DC HQ ok)

which is why i put this one up to encourage people to do one campaign instead of a seperated series of events

And that's what a campaign is. A bunch of events that lead into each other. RPGs tend to die out because of... well, most of us should know why by now.

I think it's a cool idea. I'm sure there'd be enough people interested in SEED and willing enough to RP. It'd take some work but hey it's a challenge

My only problem with this is that it takes approximately 184914175715843 days to resolve a large-scale SimChamber battle...

So, where were you people when it came down to voting for Tristan's RP campaign?

Admittedly, this IS significantly different. Tristan's RP campaign casts the heroes as a bunch of nobodies (at the beginning) making their own story in whatever world, whereas this follows the SEED story.

Hm. This sounds intresting, but as Imby said, I think it'll take most of my adult life to finish. :P

I have to stand with Umbaglo here. An original story with original characters is alot more interesting then just following the template of a pre-made story, which requires less originality. Also, it's kinda lame that just because someone happens to have the main character of SEED's name as a screen name, that automatically makes him the lead character in your RPG. That's just stupid. You should go with something original, ditch a main character idea, and go with a large group of major characters instead. It's worked for SRW so far, wouldn't you say?
