Here are my thoughts about the Masou Kishin Heralds..
On outside their mechas, they are your ordinary beefed up classless pilot class, who has a lower DC and able to use their seishins. While, inside their mechas, they are powerhouses especially on units normal SDL and greater SDL.
And, yes, in the world of LoE everything is powered by Prana, which improves that unit's basic stats and weaponries (if I remember right the largest bonus they gave was an additonal 50% of the unit's basic stat.). Then, the SDL which as Tristan has already said will improved the piloting stats.
But that ain't all, in the LoE game, there are some factors and abilities that the other SRWs haven't. The pilot ability 'Bunshin', 'Attack Again', 'Presence Detection', Seishin 'Prana Restore' and Seishin 'MG Drain' (which steals 50 EN from a target enemy).
So to reflect those as from the game and with some modifications, here's my version of it:

Spirit Dependancy: Bestows unit with status upgrades according to Spirit Dependancy Link. This stacks with the Prana ability. Bonus is as follows:

Attack Again: Uses the first attack phase's attack on the same target. Requires charging. Attack Again is used ONLY after the first attack phase.

Presence Detection Note:
Sorry and I dunno how to write this in SC stat version form but I know how it exactly works. In the LoE game, there are 4 directions which you are facing (this exactly works like FF Tactics and Front Mission). Let's say you are attacked either from the back or the side. Presence Detection has a 50% chance to kick in, which gives you more higher defense and evasion rate. So in SC terms, Presence Detection works like blocking but at
Damage Received -25% instead of
Damage Received -50% and does not forfeit your attack phase. This also gives a moderate Dodge Cost modifier.

Of course, this shows and reflects what a MH pilot was in the LoE. This as well gives the MH pilots some skills usable outside their mechs (this abilities are 'Attack Again' and 'Presence Detection') giving them some more edge.
On the Prana Ability, I've decide to give them +X bonus instead +X% bonus. B'coz, even if +X% bonus sounds to nice, but when they are applied on the Boss Mechas (like Neo Granzon and Bairava), this ability will be abit broken.
This suggestion of mine will also change how the item 'Prana Converter' will work as well as giving each of the LoE units with the 'Prana Converter' ability (except for Valcione, since it's upgraded version, the Valcione R, already has some La Gias technology incorporated on it, during the upgrade). In other words, the current Prana Converter will now be giving the 'Prana' ability bonus instead of 'Spirit Dependancy' ability bonus.
