Let's talk Angst-Powered Robo.
First, why a new thread? Because.
The most recent change proposed for EVAs and their pilots was an AT Field proposal. This was executed by Umbaglo, and the discussion was somewhere about... simchamber.proboards4.com/index.cgi?board=controlroom&action=display&n=1&thread=3288.
This met with pretty much overwhelming approval. For postereity, the stats are posted here. I made one minor addition, the mention of "active" AT Fields in reference to negation, as it was brought up in the thread.
It has been pointed out to me that this is already in the Hangar, and snuck in sometime a week or two back. It even had the same addition. However, I shall leave this here. Because... it's important!

There was much talk in this thread started by Tristan, but I can't honestly tell if any progress was made past the initial proposal (which isn't too shabby).

- Synchro Rate: Modifies Dodge Cost and Weapon Damage in EVAs or in any unit with Asuka's Plug Suit equipped.

We're all pretty familiar with features of the EVAs, and it seems proposed features of the class is Synchro Rate, AT Field activation, and possibly a relation to the Berserker mode demonstrated by EVA-01.
As a minor comment on Berserking, I wouldn't have a problem with every EVA essentially presenting both an EVA and a Berserker mode, but I'd think that it could vary a lot. If we call Asuka's piloting in the End of Evangelion a "berserker" then that allows for a lot of latitude, whereas if we limit ourselves to EVA-01's berserking, as in "The Beast" episode, was it, we have a much different synthetic lifeform on our hands.

AT Field: Negate x damage from any source for 1 EN. AT-Field only negates weapons of x damage or below and is automatically negated if used to block damage with a value of x + 1 or above. Pay 50% of the DESTROY negation price to negate PARALYZE attacks.
