Reborn as a poll thread.
In SRW, being able to target a map attack gives much more flexibility than the four-direction spread or bar indiscriminate types do.
In the SC, it means you either have to hit one of your allies, or the person targeted by it can go last to have it affect only him.
I propose we give back T MAPs some of that flexibility - let them just work like an ordinary I MAP if the shooter wants.
For example, if for some reason I ignore the far superior targeting area and effect area (burst instead of clumsy bar) of Nadesico Y-Unit's Transposition Cannon compared to its Gravity Blast in SRWR, I can still just pretend it's a non-targetable MAP that comes out the side of the ship, and I can still hit at least as much as Gravity Blast. (Transposition Cannon has an effect area of 25 squares; Gravity Blast has 24.)

Well, then it would appear there is much favour for. I don't see any reason why not, so it might as well.
