Among the three Dynamic classes, Mazinger Pilots are currently the most vulnerable to status attacks in the first 4 turns, since the Getters and the Gren Pilots can use their Open Get and Gren Power to negate status attacks right from the beginning. So what I am suggesting here is a PC cost for Mazin Pilots to be able to activate their Mazin Power earlier in the fight. The cost can go something like this: Activate at 1st turn: Pay 40 PCs Activate at 2nd turn: Pay 30 PCs Activate at 3rd turn: Pay 20 PCs Activate at 4th turn: Pay 10 PCs
After all, this is roughly how the Zero System, Dimensional Coupler System and other morale activated abilities work in the SC. I believe we all know that Mazin Power is an ability that activates when the Mazinger reaches 130 morale. What does everyone think of this suggestion? Mod feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Point of interest, Gundam Fighters base it off of 30%, 20%, etc... whereas Zero System uses fixed 40, 30... as a flat cost. And Mazinger, of course, doesn't have any early trigger at all.
Maybe there should be some uniformity between the three (and others), although I'm not the expert on SRW...

I agree that they should be standardized. I say just make gundam fighter's super mode activation non-percentage based and call it a day. Mazinpower might be too strong and useful to accomodate early activation though, although it is only availible in class units...

You can activate Zero System early. You can activate Dimensional Coupler System early. Getting bunshin about four turns before you would normally do so is pretty dramatic, if you ask me...
All this would do is allow a Mazinger to take a DA'd status.

All this would do is allow a Mazinger to take a DA'd status. The ability to take a DA'd status early in the the fight could mean the difference between victory and defeat, as I recently discovered. It is one of those things that while not appearing dramatic, can help immensely in survivability. Besides, the Open Get of Getters are supposed to activate at 130 morale also. How come they get to use it straightaway? Hyper/Super Mode of Gundam Fighters can also be activated earlier by paying some PCs. Not to mention Grendizer does not even have "Gren Power" to speak of in the games. Gren Power is an original SC creation. So I think we should make Mazin Power just like all other morale-activated abilities, and allow it to be activated earlier by paying some PCs.
