Hmm... SRWMX-wise, EVAs don't just automatically pierce (negate) AT-Fields. Only some of their weapons do. So we can also use the MX version where only certain EVA weapons completely negate AT-Field defense regardless of damage.

Was thinking it might be -type Eva weaponry and the Longinus Lance, but then there was Ramiel who attacked Shinji from a long range... It's okay since Evangelions have been pretty vulnerable to status attacks ever since I joined here.

Basing it on weapons seems pretty sound.

It's okay since Evangelions have been pretty vulnerable to status attacks ever since I joined here. If Ramiel is that diamond guy, he was able to overwhelm Shinji's AT field through sheer firepower and not due to any particular property of the weapon itself.

Eva's melee weapons are special vibrating weapons that cuts through A.T. Fields. They are more (MV) type in that manner.

I don't see why it's a mutually exclusive decision. No reason to not have both.

Well have it that AT Field cannot be used against weapons of a opposing unit with AT field as well Kyo's right about weapons against units with AT Fields as well as they close in the both AT Fields cancel each other based on the anime. About the AT Field item... Sure!, at least to have COE's pilot other than EVA's but at least compensate this with a balance with the other classes.

I was just thinking this over--sure, we get ourselves an AT Field outside of an Evangelion, but that's about it! Twenty DC, and well better off as a classless pilot...but then, of course, talk about how a CoE should behave outside an Evangelion would have to be talked about later.

Well COE's are that way, but can complement with items and other mecha inherents anyway. imagine a Zaku with an AT field ;

AT Field would be darn useful on any unit with a shield. Anyway, I think that having both an AT Field and Synchro item wouldn't be a bad idea when looking at it from that viewpoint. Once you reach the higher levels of units the AT Field isn't too hot anymore. Plus there's already some precedent with Antibodies having both their barrier item and buff item.

There's a number of emulators which are a "one or the other" deal as well, but then again, most of those are there to enable you to use abilities you don't already have.

Emu item for AT Field sounds ok would be a killer though but what the heck sounds fun too.
One Q? though would this Emu also bring fort the Synchro rate of the CoE of just AT Field? coz in my view I think only one should suffice to be carried by the item. Just an opinion.

The item in question is only giving AT Field.
