Vandread Jura is stronger compared to the rest of the Vandreads.
Oh, and where is Super Vandread?

I'm going to start wiht my beefs.... 5) Scatter Beam Shield (Barrier): Negates 20 damage from any non-(M) or non- source for 1 EN. Can be used to protect 1 ally any turn, but will no longer protect you until next turn. In the show, it protected a whole planet as well as the ship, and many dread-types... Personally, I think it should be handled like Chakra Shield, except you pay an upkeep per turn where the upkeep is number of people you're using it on. So, yourself would cost 1 EN, and yourself, a mothership, and 12 units would be 14 EN a turn. Also, i think it should protect from everything. Just 'cause it kinda did. Edit: Maybe because of the regen, make it 2 EN per person? And nerf the offensive capabilities, probably. it is primarily a defense unit. Additionaly, if all of the Nirvana's support dreads and such are going to be an attack, then shouldn't Vandread Dita and the Nirvana have a combo attack? Y'know, the one where they bounced a bumcha lasers off the barriers?

The SP Dread and Vanguards have 3 IS, where the Vandreads all only have 2. They should probably be even if they're going to Gattai to avoid issues with which IS gets dropped and whatnot.

Tell that to Core Fighters and a whole lot of everything else.

Most Core Fighters have the same IS as their source unit. The ones that don't haven't been updated yet.
Also, most units which combine in-battle keep the same number of IS.

so far as i see it... i made a few stats months ago similar pattern with much changes.
All Dread units have a shield protecting them, try to remember the second last episode on vandread(not the second stage yet) you'll see that the dreads are taking hits and see their glowing shield around protecting them, and NO that isnt Jura's bit shields but the internal shields for each dread units themselves. as much as i see it... i works similar to a G-wall.
Another thing is Vandread Jura's Scatter Beam Shield, it can cover a planet with it. The Chakra Shield idea is good but at least i think to pump the reduction a bit more.
About the Nir Vana why are you firing Attack/Defensive type dreads! are you suicidal crazy! Nir Vana only has two weapons, its All Range Cannon and Homing Lasers. Maybe we can take the Dreads as summon's instead.
and also finally...
*mentions Barnette SP Dread
more other info i'll add later since im gonna watch my DVD and get my magazines about this to fully give the ideals.

The Dread attacks are kinda like rapid lauch strikes, Signal--similar to Helmholtz's Megillot Missile (which is NOT a missile attack as the name would suggest), and that flying Mechasaurus carrier's jet attack. Nirvana has enough dreads on it to suggest that it they're its main mode of attack and defense. IIRC, it only even used the All-range cannon a grand total of once in the entire series, at the most twice. (Mostly because they didn't even know they had weapons, I think. ) And yeah, all dreads have a barrier as far as I know. Hibiki once fired an all range attack, using the friendly dreads as "reflector bits" to bounce the lasers toward enemy targets.

Sooo, to summarize: - Give all Dread-types a G-wallish thing. - Boost Jura's Vandread's defensive capabilities, while toning down it's offensive. (I have no idea what some of those attacks are. :x ) - (Possible) Change the attacks on the Nirvana and give it summons. - Fix IS stuff. Anything else? And I'm thinking Barnett's Dread should have something akin to Shoot All Ammo.

Why don't we start with what we have, and work from there?

For the following units: -Gascogne's Repair Ship(Still dont know its name though) -MP Vanguard(the mass produced vanguard units) -MP Dread(Mass Produced Dreads) ... We'll deal with them later, I'm STILL re-checking and re-studying. Aslan> they all have barriers? I thought that was the Scatter Beam Shields of Vandread Jura.

Couldn't have been Vandread Jura, as I believe Hibiki had combined into Vandread Dita at that time.

Yeah they all have individual shields.
As for the Nirvana's Shield, A revise version of Regris' idea, how about having it act like those upkeep system we got. You pay certain En to activate it and it stays on, every turn you loose X EN, also since its always on. Also i dont think the Shields of the Nirvana have ever extended to other units, i think your refering to Vandread Jura, since thats the only one i ever saw that extend out its Barrier.

If you're referring to my post, Mao, then yes, I was talking about Vandread Jura. The whole barrier spiel is about Vandread Jura.
