This is probably a very unpopular idea but if anyone has opinions for (or against) this, please reply here.
I'm suggesting that we put a ban on all *further* fights until everything with the new SC is settled. The ones taking place now can still progress until the move takes place. If anyone's really antsy, perhaps the fights listed on the sheet now can be started in the SC. Just an idea; with a fight lock it'll give the mods some breathing room, and maybe time to throw out, refine, and possibly implement new ideas with units/pilot classes/etc.

Hmm... putting the freeze on the old SC will definitely make our modding time easier, but we must think of the players in that sense. However IMO, the late October and early November are the final exam seasons, putting a freeze is in a way the correct time. Most SC players most probably won't be free until mid or late November anyway.
As for the ongoing fights, we can let them continue a bit, best if they get to finish fast. Else we see how active it is and then consider putting a lock on them/it.

I'm all for a few fight freezes. A lot of the participants (at least on the other side of the globe) won't be able to participate in the SC during exams, and I'm sure the rest of the participants will understand.

Oh no, I meant for all current fights to continue as they were; just prevent any further ones from starting (with the exception of those that are necessary; like Alfimy's Hyaku-Shiki one, or those that have been Queued for a long time); the current fights should definitely continue as they are. That way we can have them all resolved when the big move occurs.

alfimy's fights are the most unnecessary ones I should say. Yeah, this is a pretty good idea, let the current fights finish, then move everything over to the new SC. If we continue on making new fights, we wont be able to move it for a long time since fights will continue on. And moving mid-way during the match aint that good also, so letting these matches all finish and then move to the new one will give the mods some breathing room and make it an easier transfer. I agree. My german match wont be done soon at this rate >:E

That's why the match's on hold for later. I didn't say anything about that match. Yeah, it's a useless match, that's why I agreed on freezing up new fights and wait for the new SC to be done. I never said a word about putting that match up before u freeze the SC, did I?

Hey guys, quit it... Anyway, I suggest we put the freeze not on all matches, but the ones which are slow-moving (normally the really huge ones, like KOTH). That way we can let the fast-moving ones finish their parts, while we prepare for the new SC. Kudos to Alfimy-san for his transferring work of the SimRules. *attends to other stuff*

(as of this writing, the author is sick)
Well, I want my upgrade matches over with so I can hold the auction. Rules...I'll need some help here. Just copy and pasting won't work, since a lot of stuff has changed.
Well, how I move my New Fights Form is this: for 1 v 1s, I allow a person to participate in 2 of these at the same time for 2 v 2s, if others are already in several matches, I wait. for larger fights, I tend to activate one at a time...
arrghh...cant think. I need some rest. Ill edit this later.
