I was going through the old rules when I thought of something, that could be discussed...in fact implemented into our next big 'patch' of SC. See how you think.
1. Terrain System. I might be introducing a new variable soon: TR: which is Terrain type. Some mechs are for Water use, some for Space, some for Air, etc. By utilizing this and making a set of rules for each type of terrain, we can truly make water-based battles.
For example, a normal Gundam would be Ground type. It cannot melee a Air based mech, for example, whereas the opposite can be done. However, this means that weapons will have to be modified to contain new terrain type mods.
2. Upgrade System. Once you buy the mech, you can choose to upgrade your mech even further. We will provide US (similar to IS), upgrade slots so that you can upgrade your HP or EN (currently no armor/mobility and such). Each mech will have different USs.
3. More weapon variables. I might be re-introducing the old SNIPE. Need some opinions first though. The others include ATK-DOWN, EN-DRAIN, etc, as per the upcoming SRWOG.
4. Statistics change. I don't know if this is actually feasible, but I propose we changing all our HP and EN back into SRW-style...that is, 4 digit HPs and 3 digit EN standards. This way we can just take the original stats without over-modification. The trouble here is armor and mobility.

I've actually thought about those things before; specifically the further upgradeable mecha and leaving things in SRW-style (the HP / EN in the 4 and 3 digits) before..out of all of those, I think that the further upgrades has the easiest likelihood of being implemented. Easier to keep track of; pay a set amount of money to upgrade HP, and the like. As for armor..I don't think we need to worry too much about that. In a sense, HP is a measure of the armor, no?

Agree, the US thing can be done with very little effort. As for the others, they're not bad ideas, but it will involve HUGE amount of work, we have like 100s of unit in here, and changing all hp and en, we also gotta change the weapons too, it's more or less re-creating the mech all together, so there's gotta be really a good plan if we're gonna do that, and also enuff man power to change stuffs around, 3 hangar mods doing this will take years. Terrain same, kinda hard to do.

1. As I see it, if the Hangar Engineers would to work on all 280+ units for the Terrain System changes in mind, that would be much more beneficial than the digit change. We have units here which are non-SRW or G-Gen (which had different HP system and no EN at all). Doing the aforementioned will not only take time but also brainpower, extra work desu.
I agree with the Terrain System, we can use the 4 basic ones from the standards Land, Air, Water, Space and Zero-G Environment (like on Colony Walls, Moon, etc), or maybe even Dimension (variable?).
2. Sounds like a good system to me. This will further allow room for improvement and diversity. Should be done together with the Terrain System mods, IMO.
3. I'm thinking of renaming the SNIPE to STRIKE, since we have a ability of a similar name (the GM Snipers', Xeku Zwei's). ATK-DOWN and EN-DRAIN would be good, but seeing the exclusiveness in it not many weapons will have this.
From this, I would like talk about DISABLE, a new idea. Basically you can disable weapons or barriers of opponents, but again this is limited to some weapons, making these particular units astronomical in value. A set of limitation rules be needed then.
4. Read (1) for opinion.
