I've banned Sig from this board. Let it be known that I admit that I should have done this long before and I take responsibility for this issue escalating up to this point.
What I would like to ask of all SC members is this: please be on the lookout for members, possibly new ones, who may be clone accounts of Sig. Inform me immediately if you think that a certain member is actually Sig posing as someone else. I am serious about this and this time around, I'm definitely going to be more vigilant in making sure that Sig never sees daylight in the SC EVER AGAIN.[/color]

Frost, think on what you've just done. You've made his IP public to the ENTIRE WORLD. Not that anyone couldn't find a way to get it if they wanted to, but it's a kind of unwritted internet code that you don't go posting other people's IP addresses in the open for any bozo to find. You should have posted that in the mod board.
While I think it 100% right that you banned him, please don't open his IP to the public like that.

He has a few tells really Frost, turns of phrase, ways of doing things. He won't be hard to spot if he ever rears his head again.

Well, I just saw one account clone and another noted by Gouf. I couldn't care less if the people in this board see his IP. Let him know that messing with my trust will merit him nothing good. If I need to be ruthless, then I'll go to all ends.

Besides, his IP is dynamic - if you're going to IP ban him, you'll have to IP ban the whole domain, which may be fairly risky.

I know. I was already planning to start using asterisks but I might end up banning some other members in the process. Just keep your eyes peeled. He's not getting back in again. Thank Machiavelli for this attitude. He taught me a lot this semester.

Hay! dun blame yourself too hard on letting Sig back in the board, after all its not your fault that he had an attitude problem but it was your responsibility and his right to be given a second chance, you didn't blew it he did! So don't be too hard on yourself. If giving people chance is a mistake then we should nuke ourselves.

Umm.... Frooost~~ Members other than admins (and maybe global mods, I don't remember) can't see the IP addresses of the posters on the board~ So it's kinda pointless to post that part as well =X

Not to mention, he's doing it just to get attention, like this.

Avi> What do you mean?

What Avi means is, Sig probably did this on purpose to stir up a mess. Talking with the guy over a length, I'd probably say that's not the case. He isn't the kind of guy hungry for that much attention, I think...

I see. Well, it's definitely over for him here in the SC. I know that for most people on the board, he's gone past the point of redemption and the apaprent reality is he gone through my designated threshold as well. So that's that. I will personally make sure that he never comes back. Like what the others had previously said, he's pretty easy to spot. If you do, tell me immediately. I don't care if I have to ban all the IPs that he'll use to the point that he'll have to move to another country just to nag us once again. I'll be watching.

My powers do not extend to SRWG. That's Daba's realm. Although Aslan and I have absolute hold now in the SC since Daba has completely relinquished control to us, we are in no position to influence his decision whether to keep Sig around in SRWG. Now in the event that Daba encounters any problems with Sig in SRWG, given that we have suffered from Sig here in the SC, I think it is not fair that we step in and arbitrate. I would prefer that Daba deal with Sig in the SC without me or Aslan influencing his decision the same way Daba no longer wants to deal with the issues here in the SC.

don't really see why you can't do stuff in SRWG. you and cross are GLOBAL mods there last time i checked. i'd think that position has some attached responsibilities to it, no?
