After a break, it's time once again to start up everyone's favourite stipend fight: Beat Up Umb's AM! The rules, for those who are new, are quite simple.
I'll give you 1000 imaginary PCs that you use to buy your one unit and up to 4 items. You will then take your selected unit and items, and face off against 5 of my own units in wave format. As you defeat a unit, the next unit will then step up and take it's swing at you. I nother words, players get initiative on deploy, but all waves after the first get initiative. There will be up to 50% HP/EN regeneration between waves, with the amount regenerated reduced by 5% for each turn that passes between deploy and destruction. Take longer then 10 turns, and you get nothing.
You may be asking, "But what do you get?" To defend my PCs, as stated, I get 5 units that you need to fight through. The 5 units will be unique through out all the BUUAM fights, to a limit. What this means is that you will not see, say, my Heavyarms Custom in 2 different fights. Items will be taken from my collection, and will be unique internal to each fight. This means that I can use up to, say, my 5 Cecilly's Buns in one person's match, but I can still use the same 5 in another person's match as well. The difficulty level of my units will be modified based on the power level of the unit and items chosen by the player, though the fairness is debatable. But hey, that's half the fun. Each unit will also be piloted by one of my classes, and the same class will not be used twice in the same set of fights.
Now you may ask "What are the prizes?" Well, the prizes are simple. If you manage to beat all 5 of my guardians, you get the unit and items that you "purchased" for the fights. Should there not be a winner by the last week of March, the person who's reached the furthest wave will be declared victor. Should there be 2 or more people who've reached that wave, then the person who's lasted the longest will win. Should there STILL be a tie, then it all comes down to who I liked better.
So hey, there you all go. Whoever's interested, post here with your unit and item setups, and we'll get things started as soon as possible. If there are any questions, feel free to ask.
