3) Ball can be used only in spaceBall Char Aznable Typeimg109.exs.cx/img109/5598/charrbkjpg2jq.jpgDuring the early days of the One Year War, a certain Zeon Ace named Char Aznable gains his nickname and reputation by single-handedly sinking five EF motherships. And thus, from that day onwards, he began to give his Red color scheme to all the Suits he's in, which really strengthens his presence in the battlefield.
The fact that was not widely known to public that during the One Year War, however, is that Char has customized not only Zeon suits, but also various Federation Suits that were captured during the War. One such of those Char-Customized Federation units is this RB-79-CA Ball Char Aznable type. Its original form, the RB-79 Ball, is a pretty weak unit that can barely stand on its own, and it proved to be quite a challenge for even the Red Comet himself to customize this suit to make it more usable. But in the end, the Char's customized version proves to be a much better suit than the normal version, which, coupled with Char Aznable's superb piloting skills, can stand toe-to-toe against most of massproduced OYW suits.
The most notable change on this suit is the removal of the 180mm Recoilless Cannon. While it makes a good weapon for long-range combat, the weapon has a slow rate of fire, and thus, it renders the Ball vulnerable if the enemy managed to evade the first shot. To remedy this problem, Char removed the Cannon altogether, and replaced it with the Wire-Guided Hand Beam Gun, a prototype weapon to be installed in Zeon's latest suit, the Zeong.
Another significant change is the additional electric supply to the Ball's hands, giving it the ability to deliver electric shock to whatever it touches with.
Additional armor plating and thrusters are also installed, to give the much needed extra agility and durability for this unit, and to be able to keep up with Char's reflexes.
In the end, the Ball becomes quite a force in the battlefield under Char's hands. While not to the extent of a real Mobile Suit, this Char's Customized suit is able to hold on its own in battle.
In a few occasions, Char would take this Ball in battle, taking out Federation officers as they're bedazzled with the presence of a Red-painted ball with a hand on its head.
Summary:

Armaments Mod:
-Remove 180mm Recoiless Cannon.
-Add Zeong's Wire-Guided Hand Beam Gun,
(BPX), 15 damage/EN. Damage could be lowered.
-Add Hand Beam Gun, a # 5 weapon. This is the Wire Guided Hand Beam Gun, except when the Hand's stay put on its place, and it should be usable to non-NT/EH since it stays put. Damage for each shot and EN cost should be pretty low, around 2~5 for damage and 1~3 for EN cost.
-Remove Tackle, add Shock Arms, a # 2 weapon that can also paralyze. EN Cost should be none or very low, around 1~2.
Abilities Mod:
-Countershoot for Wire-Guided Hand Beam Gun and Hand Beam Gun.
-Dodge cost - remove dodge cost of 10, and replace with locked DC of 5~10 or a -5~-7 dodge cost.
-Bump rank to Corporal.
