Profiles for subchars (will repost in proper places in due time)
----- A pilot and operator for the Federation-sponsored paramilitary unit Space Knights, tasked with studying the unusual spore-plants scattered over the Earth by the destructive extra-terrestrial beings called the Radam. It was during one of these expeditions that Aki first encountered a mysterious man with the power to transform into a superstrong cyber-organic warrior called a Tekkaman, with his designation being "Blade". Apparently he too has been fighting the Radam and its hordes of "spidercrabs", but his unusual abilities and characteristics have put him under suspicion. Nevertheless the Space Knight commander extended an invitiation to the man (nicknamed D-Boy or 'Danger Boy' by the other Knights) to join forces with them to repel the Radam invasion. It was mostly Aki's urging that led to D-Boy accepting the offer, and she has been his constant companion since then. Quite obviously she has fallen for the enigmatic man, and would readily stand by him - and stay with him - no matter what the uncertain future holds. [NOTE: For those more familiar with Saban's(?) translation of Tekkaman Blade called "Teknoman", Aki is known as "Starr Summers".]
Seventeen-year-old student from Graviton City High School, tall and willowy with a slender, athletic build, a fine figure and a very handsome profile, one regal and aristocratic in bearing. She moved with the grace of a ballerina and had earned high marks in all areas of a classical education. A certified genius who had mastered all areas of technology before her freshman year, she was at the top of her class and a proud representative of her social order. She has qute the crush on one of her classmates named Shiko (C-Ko) and is constantly warring with C-Ko's best friend - her "destined" rival, the superhumanly strong Eiko (A-Ko) Magami - over the cheerful girl's undivided affection. Starting with bullies, then mechas galore, and finally her own strength-enhancing power suit, B-Ko has challenged A-Ko to have C-Ko for herself, but it has only resulted in large property damage and nothing resolved between them. With the arrival of an alien power who has identified C-Ko as the long-lost daughter of their ruler, and C-Ko's subsequent departure in acceptance of her true heritage, both A-Ko and B-Ko have lost their one reason for fighting so long. Whether they can finally patch things up remains an open question.
Better known by her alias of Malkovich, Margarete is a spy working for an undisclosed European power during the early 20th century and sent to China to gather intelligence on the operations of the occupying Japanese Imperial Army, as well as to hamper their movements. Margarete is quite multi-talented - characteristic of a spy - dancing, shooting, explosives, mechanics, subterfuge, charm and seduction. While causing havoc on the Japanese troops stationed in Shanghai, Margarete runs into a pair of young people named Yuri Hyuga and Alice who also appear to be on the run from the military. In a moment of sympathy (not to mention her attraction to Yuri), she offers to work with them in their mutual goal of escape from the city. Eventually Margarete decides to accompany them in their search for a mysterious and powerful old stranger who claims to be the medieval philosopher Roger Bacon, who may hold the key to Yuri's past and Alice's destiny. [NOTE: There is a historical Margarete Gertrude Zelle, only her alias is Mata Hari.]
It's probably hard to find somebody who has NEVER heard of the great Mai Shiranui. Strikingly beautiful, perfectly-formed and voluptuous with the most unusual physics-defying large bosom, trained as a kunoichi in the Shiranui-ryu ninjutsu (with steel-reinforced razor-sharp folding fans as her weapons of choice), she has made quite a name for herself in the various King of Fighters tournaments as an unorthodox contestant (she arguably started the fad of the 'sexily dressed fighter') and champion of fan-service and girl power, especially after she founded the now-expansive Gorgeous Women's Team along with kickboxer King and karateka Yuri Sakazaki. Mai has engaged herself to the Shiranui ninja trainee Andy Bogard, but his extreme dedication to mastering his art often causes him to ignore her. Although she still waits for him, it has been reported that Mai has become VERY close to her numerous female friends and acquaintances. When it comes to Fan Service, nobody probably does it better than Mai. NIPPON ICHI!
Another kunoichi, this time under the style of Mugen Tenshin.
Yet another kunoichi, training under the ninja master Geki
Just an ordinary high school student with an extraordinary quirk of being able to see "visions" of battling giant mechas (though almost nobody believes him and he is made fun of for this fact). His life is changed forever when he is roped in by an upperclasswoman of his named Mitsuki Sanada to take part in an experiment set up by her father, an eccentric scientist trying to prove the existence of parallel worlds (and believes that Kazuki's visions hold a key to it). The experiment accidentally sends Kazuki and Mitsuki to said parallel world - appearing there one month apart - where they are recruited by a Global Defense Force (commanded by the parallel version of Dr. Sanada!) to pilot Core Robots (the mechas Kazuki "saw") in order to battle the army of a mad professor bent on conquering the world using machines created from the technology of a highly-advanced ancient civilization. But things are not as they seem...
A hacker and information merchant operating in Huffman Island during the Second Huffman Dispute. He was commissioned by two members of the OCU mercenary wanzer unit Carrion Crow to locate a couple of missing people, a job that required him to hack into the information servers of the USN military garrison on the island. On the run from USN search squads after being caught online, Hans waited until the liberation of Freedom City from USN control by the Carrion Crows, whereupon he approached them with a request for asylum. Since then he has aided the Crows with his expertise in computers and explosives, as well as fighting beside them in his artillery wanzer.
Simply put, Kang Maru is a hardcore gamer. Having mastered a piloting simulation game wherein the player operates humanoid mechas called Restols, Maru is scouted by Geonoid (a global conglomerate with influential ties to governments around the world) to beome a pilot for a real Restol unit. To his disappointment however, the Restols are actually civilian rescue vehicles for an international rescue division, and not military hardware. This frustration, coupled with Maru's tendency to think of piloting mecha as a big game, has caused some friction between him and the existing mebers of the Restol squad. Maru is arrogant, cocky and reckless, but at heart he is a friendly soul who is always ready to help others in need, and with his mad piloting (read: gaming) skills he somehow manages to get the job done with a little extra flair.
