PCs
Everyone involved in the Simchamber talks about them, and everyone's always looking for ways to earn more. I'm referring to PCs of course, and in this section you will learn the following:
1: What PCs are. 2: What PCs are used for. 3: How PCs are earned. 4: PCs and Accounting.
It is STRONGLY advised that you read each of these section carefully, particularly the last.
After all..nobody likes an irritated Tobikage.

What are PCs?
PCs used to stand for Post Counts / Post Credits.
The term PC was also used to denote the display count (number below one's name) that each member has and hence, counts officially as part of one's PC resources. But since that kind of feature induced a large number of errors within the system, it was decided that the display count was to be excluded from PC transactions.
But the name still stuck.

What PCs are used for
It can be summed up in one word. Everything. In the SimChamber, PCs are your friend. They serve a number of uses, which I will detail below.
Currency PCs are the official currency of the Sim Chamber. They are used to purchase mecha and items from the Hangar, D.A.B.A., auctions, or even other S.C. participants.
Battles In a SimChamber battle, PCs are alotted for various uses; without them, don't expect to last very long, their uses are as follows:
Dodging To dodge any attack directed against you in battle and avoid damage, you must pay PCs. Pilot Class and item effects may alter how many you pay, but it will never be lower than 5
Weapons Certain weapons, such as the Alt Eisen's Kirisatsu or Huckebein Mk II's Photon Rifle depend on PCs to deal damage.
Special Abilities Certain mecha have inherent abilities or systems that require a set amount of PCs to activate; Kenryu's Bai formation, the Devil Gundam's self revival, and the PX system are all examples of this.

How to earn PCs
Now that you know what PCs are and what they do (hopefully) I'm pretty sure you're wondering how you actually earn them now. This section will detail the ways in which you can earn PCs for use in the SimChamber
Simchamber Battles PCs are usually the prize at the end of every Simchamber battle, if you are victorious. Prizes only apply in non-training matches, so if you want to win PCs, you'll have to risk spending them in battle.
Bonus Stages Also dealing with the SimChamber; bonus stages are fights such as the Turkey Shoot, where you gain a set amount of PCs per target destroyed. Here, the PCs your spend do not count against you.
Contests Sponsored by mods. These contests aren't frequent, so take advantage of them when they show up. And above anything else, DON'T CHEAT.
Awards Awards from High Orders and other mods.
Stipends As a replacement for display count PC's, each member receives a certain amount of PC's for free every month. Please refer to the Stipends section for more details.

PCs and Accounting Alright, by now you've (hopefully) learned what PCs are, what you can use them for, and the various ways to earn them. Now we'll take a review of what to do with those said PCs
The PC Depot and your PCs Hopefully you've reviewed the other sections and have already created your PC Depot account. Every PC that you earn from contests, awards, or SimChamber fight go directly here. You deposit them personally by editing your account (see PCD section for specific format) and recording the earned PCs. It is strongly advised that you keep *careful* record of your PCs; any inaccuracy and cheating will lead to your account being frozen.
PCs and loans At this time you *are* able to lend PCs between other members of the board; however the terms *must* be agreed upon by both parties, and it must be notated somewhere in both PC Depots of the lending parties. Rules on lending have only been recently reinstated, and *are* subject to change.

Hopefully the above sections have been helpful in familiarizing you with SRWG's currency, the ever-popular PC. This last section is reserved as a FAQ for any other questions that participants have, and that have not been covered in the above section.
Not that I'd do it..but what are the consequences for cheating? You're banned. Plain and simple. If you're suspected of cheating, explain your case in a civil manner and if it's a mistaken case, it will be worked out; the mods are busy and stressed, but not unreasonable.
Lending rules seem kind of shaky..am I allowed to simply give PCs away to someone? Yes you are. Distribute the wealth.
If I win a contest or battle, is there anything special I have to do before depositing PCs Not at all. Go to your account, edit it yourself, and note the deposit. Remember though: KEEP CAREFUL TRACK OF YOUR PCS.
Can I bet, wager, or gamble on fights? Gambling of any sort is HIGHLY DISCOURAGED in the SC. In light of this, you CANNOT INCLUDE PC-RELATED WAGERS, BETS, OR GAMBLES OF ANY KIND IN YOUR FIGHT STIPULATIONS. (Silly dares are still permissible, such as having to wear girl's clothes because of a fight loss and...you get the idea.) You may gamble among yourselves if you so desire, but it will be underground and cannot be placed in fight stipulations, regardless of whether it be an SC or PA fight. Therefore, we waive any sort of responsibility for debts caused by gambling. If you lose any PCs due to a bet or the debtor hid from you by leaving the community, you're on your own. This is a game, people. Please don't take it too seriously.
