Rekan was slightly angry. Having just made it out of the atmosphere, he was hoping he wouldn't have to deal with anything until he got near where he was headed...
"That looks...familiar," said Amante. Amazingly, that was the only statement she had said the entire day that didn't involve any innuendo.
"The only mech on this ship is some untested prototype, naturally...Xian threw it on before we left..."

Rekan shifted a bit as Amante crawled behind his seat.
"Didn't ask you to come along..." he muttered, getting accustomed to the controls.
"Hey, I've seen this thing before! I can tell you how it fights!"
"...Wonderful..."
The Wildwurger burst forward. Rekan messed with one of the controls, which manipulated the claw on its right arm.
"That mech is MINE!"
And so, it made a grab...
