It was a cold cold day in Japan, and while Arche didn't like staying out in the cold, she didn't like staying in on the ground either. And while the cold night air was slightly romantic, all Arche wanted to do was have some fun. The concept of "Christmas" was a completely new one to her, but a fun one none the less because it'd mean that she'd get presents from all her adoring friends (*cough*) that all loved her so much. It was also a good excuse to be let off offical grounds, now that she was being practically tracked everywhere she went.
"You know, you don't have to keep following me like a stalker," Arche said to the man in the bike beneath her.
"Well now," Regris said, "You don't have to be so rude. Why, I voulnteered to watch over you as part of my duties, and because it's Christmas. People need to be more charitable, especially around Christmas."
"Charitable in what sense?" Arche yelled, "You're just a pervert who wants to catch me in the bathroom undressing or something."
"You plauge me with such empty accusations," the doctor feigned weeping, "Oh, my eyes weep that of a thousand rivers."
"If you keep that up," Arche fumed, "I'll make you see the light of a thousand stars."
"Again with the temper," Regris sighed as he looked over on his radar, "There's three heat signatures dead ahead, probably some old war junkies reenacting a battle."
"If that's so," Arche said, "Then they have some weird tastes in battle uniforms."
The sight before them was... Comical at best. Three old federation Ball units stood menacingly over the horizon of the setting sun decked out in fearsome santa hats and feathery white scarves. It took most of the willpower Regris had to stifle his laughing, Arche on the other hand...
"BWAhahaha!!! Are these Zanto's little helpers this year?" Arche said with a nasty fit of giggles.
"I believe the name was Santa," Regris added.
"Whatever," Arche said as she flew up to one of the ball's cockpit glass, knocking on it. "Hello?" she said, "Aren't you guys a little embarassed to be in these things? They look like giant candies."
Arche was quickly interrupted by a claw flying by her head, apparently whoever was in the ball didn't like being made fun of. All three balls soon got into formation, floppy hats and all, and made a rush towards Arche.
"Hey, three on one isn't too fair!" Arche yelled, "You, doctor man, help me!"
"Me?," Regris said suprised, "How about I stay in the back lines and if you get your head in too deep I'll get you out of here."
"You just don't wanna help me, don't you!?" Arche yelled as she dodged yet another claw.
"Hmm, yeah I think that sums it up pretty well," the doctor said with a smile, "I'll come and get you if things get too out of hand, and remember, just think of this as training."
"Training, yeah right," Arche said as she channeled the magical energy in her veins.

Quickly enough, the flame engulfs the Ball. However, they dissipate as quickly, too... and the Ball stood still, still looks in its best shape.

Kurei turns around, only to see the other two of the foes closes in to Venom's Ball. He jumped to help his comrade, beam muramasa drawn, and deflects the attackers away.
